Why is my saliva not as thick?

my saliva used to be more dense , now ive brushed my teeth more often and my saliva taste like sweet water and alot less dense (like water).( i was able to excrete the sweet saliva before) but now they are excreting on their own and i taste sweetness whenever i think about it. is this suppose to happen or did something go wrong?
