Seizures ******* plz help !!!?

my little sister(11), was laying in an armchair falling asleep and she had her ipod earphones in her ear. i heard almost a choking or gagging sound and turned around and saw her arm jerking in a weird position and her mouth was full of saliva. i called her name loud and asked her if she was ok and what was wrong repeatedly until she was sitting up and struggled to make words come out. she was speaking almost inaudibly for some seconds. i asked her what her name was and what my name was and she answered without thinking. she was able to get up and walk unassisted to the sink and drink some water but she choked on her first sip then said that she couldnt lift heavy things in her left arm but that has faded. this whole fiasco lasted less than 3 minutes. was this a seizure or what? what steps should be taken?
