Question about contracting HIV?

I think you both have to have open sores to contract it i would say its unlikely but get tested anyways. I have been freaking out the past few days because 7-8 years ago when i was younger before i meet my current boyfriend i slept with a few guys unprotected. I was my boyfriends first and we have been together almost 6 years and neither of us have been with anyone else since. But i get recurring yeast infections which is a sign of HIV and i read you can go symptom free for 15-20 years. So i am totally freaked out and in the same boat as you so i am going to the gynecologist and just praying and hoping everything is okay. To be safe just get tested.
